Coaching Program Subscription FAQ & Program Enrollment

Please note that this is a monthly subscription. You will be charged each month until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

What services are included in the monthly coaching program subscription?2019-10-18T12:24:30-04:00

Your on-going, monthly coaching subscription includes your meetings with Sarah, along with all services and products, such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator administration, filming of live practice interviews/performance discussions/presentations, and use of Big Interview video practice software.

How many hours of coaching are included each month?2021-12-07T23:46:16-05:00

You decide–while there is a minimum number of appointments per month that we recommend, there is no maximum. When urgent situations arise, you can also request or schedule additional appointments (at no extra cost). We are able to accommodate the vast majority of such requests.

To get the most out of the program, clients pre-schedule a set number of appointments at the beginning of each month:

Month 1: Five appointments (in addition to your first appointment), with more on request as needed.
Months 2 and beyond: Three to four appointments each month, with more on request as needed.

There are day, evening, and weekend appointments available. As evening and weekend availability is limited, we ask clients who are free during the day to schedule their routine, non-urgent appointments for weekdays before 5 pm Eastern time.

Can I send documents for Sarah to review between appointments?2019-10-18T12:30:25-04:00

You may send your documents in advance, but Sarah will work with you to edit or review documents, during your appointment/call. When sending documents in advance, please indicate “To review during our appt on [date]” on the subject line.

What should I do if I have urgent questions between appointments?2020-07-01T14:39:56-04:00

Between 10 am – 11 pm Eastern time, call 212-206-9929 and leave a message if you get voicemail (do not email or text). You can also request a short-notice and/or after hours appointment here, and we will get back to you with a confirmation or alternate time as soon as we can. (If we do not respond within an hour, definitely give us a call at 212-206-9929.)

Can I text or email any quick questions I have between appointments?2019-10-18T12:35:38-04:00

Out of necessity, our policy about between-appointment communication is very strict :). Questions/issues that arise between appointments are discussed only by telephone, so please do not email or text your questions, no matter how quick they seem to be.

What is the appointment cancellation process? Is there a fee for canceling an appointment with less than 24 hours notice?2021-03-03T02:56:30-05:00

Our most popular policy is that you can reschedule appointments up until the time they are due to start, as long as it doesn’t become a habit. You can cancel online using the link in your confirmation or reminder emails. If the cancellation is last-minute, a “heads up” phone call is always welcome. We do appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or postpone an evening or weekend appointment.

Are there some kind of coaching appointments available every day?2021-12-08T00:16:21-05:00

You can count on ample availability to schedule all your appointments at reasonable intervals throughout the month (in other words, you won’t have to cluster your appointments too close together). For clients in their second month and beyond, the longest gap in appointment availability will be 6 business days (5 days for clients in their first month). If necessary, Sarah will set aside time to meet with clients when she is traveling. She will always make an effort to accommodate clients who need help with urgent matters such as final round interviews or negotiations.

I prefer to have all in-person appointments. Can I get extension in my program to make up for the times when there are only remote appointments available?]2021-12-07T23:51:18-05:00

While some of our clients prefer in-person appointments, we ask all our monthly clients to agree to either:
1) Work with Sarah by Zoom or phone when she is away from the office (approximately 3-6 weeks per year), or
2) Schedule in-person appointments around Sarah’s travel. The gap between in-person appointments might occassionally be as long as 6 to 10 business days.

Do I have to give notice before canceling my subscription to the coaching program? What is the process to cancel?2021-12-08T00:01:04-05:00

You don’t have to give notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your program will end on the last day of  your billing month. To cancel your subscription, open any of your monthly subscription confirmation emails and click the Change Your Subscription Here button.


Can I get a refund if I end my subscription mid-month?2021-03-03T03:27:55-05:00

While it usually makes financial sense to finish out the current month of coaching, we are happy to refund any positive balance left on this formula:
Refund = [Monthly payment] – [hourly cost of any coaching hours you received that month] – [any CC charges incurred on the payment refund]
